Binary is simple:
Easy to understand
Binary (if working with letters and numbers) works like this
0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
say were using a 64bit (which most people do)
Working on the opposite way
0 0 0 0 0 0 0 1 this number would be one.
0 0 0 0 0 0 1 0 this number would be two.
0 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 this number would be four.
0 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 this number would be eight.
0 0 0 0 1 1 1 1 this number would be fifteen.
We could reverse the binary but its easier to explain it the original way
256 128 64 32 16 8 4 2 1
0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
If the number (0) is changed to a 1
You add the value of the number above to the overall value and add all the value of the ones together:
The reason why binary uses this equation is that you can express any value between 0-256 with the use of 8 numbers, saving ALOT of memory.
